This project has been funded by the Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Medicine Subject Centre. The idea for the project was developed from a major finding of the Enhancing Clinical Learning in the Workplace project that students did not feel fully prepared for their transition to the clinical workplace in their final year and did not know what to expect from the teaching staff. Further findings suggested that talking with their peers, who had previously been in the workplace, constituted the bulk of their preparation. This then led to the development of a learning resource around informal peer learning.
The website has a number of student authored videos which include: interviews from staff about clinical rotations, final year student video diaries and student authored tours of the hospital.
